The Ventures Onsite Exclusives blog provides news updates for construction projects in the MENA (Mid East and Northern Africa) region, related to a leads and data service focusing on Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Oman, Qatar, Kuwait, Bahrein, Egypt, Jordan, Algeria, Syria, Libya, Morocco, Yemen, Iraq, Iran, Lebanon, Tunisia, Sudan and regional groupings. The data service, of course, requires a fee, but the blog’s news updates are free. Here is an example of a recent posting:
Aujan to build $100mn juice factory in Egypt
Saudi Arabia?s Aujan Coca-Cola Beverages Company announced that it plans to spend US$100mn in building a fruit-juice factory in Egypt over the next few years.
The company vice president of strategy and business development, Meshal Alkadeeb said the money would cover buying the land and setting up the factory in Egypt, which Aujun sees as a North Africa hub, mainly for Algeria and Libya.
?The plant will be commissioned between 2016 and 2017. We just started working on it,? Alkadeeb said.
Clearly this blog, and related data service, has relevance if you are doing business in the Arabic world. The focus is obvious and you’ll enjoy a depth of regional information in well-written English unavailable elsewhere.
