The Society for Marketing Professionals Services (SMPS) Nominations and Elections Committee has listed its slate of officers, directors, and trustees for the forthcoming fiscal year.
In accordance with the SMPS bylaws, the following candidates have been appointed by the Nominations and Elections Committee to fill three open positions on the 2018?19 SMPS board of directors:
- President-elect: Melissa Lutz, principal, Champlin Architecture, Cincinnati, OH (Term: Sept. 1, 2018, to Aug. 31, 2019)
- At-large director: Elizabeth M. Harris, vice-president, United Consulting, Norcross, GA (Term: Sept. 1, 2018, to Aug. 31, 2020)
- At-large director: Catherine McCullough, president/CEO, McCullough Landscape Architecture Inc., San Diego, CA (Term: Sept. 1, 2018, to Aug. 31, 2020)
Four current directors will continue serving on the SMPS board in 2018?19 in the following positions:
- President: Chris Rickman, executive vice-president and chief operating officer, ZFI Engineering Co., Oklahoma City, OK (Term: Sept. 1, 2018, to Aug. 31, 2019)
- Past-president: Nancy J. Usrey, associate vice-president, HNTB Corporation, Plano, TX (Term: Sept. 1, 2018, to Aug. 31, 2019)
- At-large director: Stacy Stout, principal, BRANDiac Strategies, Centennial, CO (Term: Sept. 1, 2017, to Aug. 31, 2019)
- Secretary-treasurer: Barbara Stiles, transportation business development manager, Wantman Group, Inc., Ocoee, FL (Term: Sept. 1, 2017, to Aug. 31, 2019)
The committee also recommended and the SMPS board approved the following SMPS Foundation member trustee in 2018?2019:
- Donna Corlew, Chief WIT officer, C*Connect, Kingston Springs, TN (Term: Sept. 1, 2018, to Aug. 31, 2020)
The following member trustees will continue to serve on the SMPS Foundation board in 2018?19:
