The nomination deadline for the 2016 Best Construction Blog competition is just a few weeks away — January 31. If you have a blog, or know of one that you think deserves publicity and recognition, please nominate it. There’s absolutely no cost to participate in the competition and the reward — additional search engine optimization “juice” and publicity and recognition, applies both to everyone who enters, as well as the successful finalist blogger, as I’ll review all qualified blogs here and provide free hyperlinks in the Construction Marketing Ideas blog directory.
Qualification rules are simple: The blog must have genuine, original content, be maintained with some consistency, and be related to the architectural, engineering or construction community. The best blogger will be selected through a combination of popular vote evaluation (voting period is from Feb. 1 to March 31) and independent judging. In general, to get to the short list for the judging, your blog would need to be in the top 10 in popular support.
I will begin reviewing blogs in about two weeks — so there is an advantage in submitting your nomination sooner than later.
