Yesterday, for the first time in several years, I missed a daily posting to the Construction Marketing Ideas blog. I needed to be up at 4:15 a.m. to catch a 6:00 a.m. connecting flight to Orlando, and then drive a bit more than an hour north to meet Terry Fay Hartman, the incoming Florida Construction News publisher. By the time I returned to the Disney World hotel and caught up on a day’s worth of emails and internal company business, I was ready for one thing only — sleep.
Today, I’ll be attending events at “CPSM Day” — a special pre-conference program for Certified Professional Service Marketers (CPSM), the association’s designation for members who have completed some courses and testing on their professional competence. The conference begins full-scale tomorrow and continues through Friday. The event should provide plenty of resources and insights for future blog entries.
