The Society for Marketing Professional Services (SMPS) will soon publish the closest thing to a textbook for architectural, engineering and construction marketing under its new imprint, SMPS Publications.

 

A/E/C Marketing Fundamentals: Your Keys to Success will be released in Los Angeles on Aug. 20 at Build Business, SMPS’s annual conference. Authors and contributors Julie Huval, Holly Bolton, Brad Thurman, Francis Lippert, and Sylvia Montgomery will be on hand to sign copies.

“The publishing landscape has changed dramatically over the past few years,” says Jaime Flores, vice-president of marketing and communications for SMPS. “Creating our own imprint provides a great opportunity to keep costs down while utilizing developing technologies such as Print–on-Demand (POD). The imprint allows us to offer valuable, industry-related publications for SMPS members and A/E/C professionals.”

A/E/C Marketing Fundamentals was originally published in 2004 by BNi Publications, Inc. The newly revised version was edited by Richard Belle. It’s the first book being released under the imprint SMPS Publications and will be available in paperback and as an e-pub through Amazon.
