Today’s posting is brief, because I’ve spent much of it travelling across the continent to San Francisco, for the third Google Top Contributors Summit.
This international event — attracting upwards of 700 people from every part of the world, connects volunteer Google product help forum moderators (Top Contributors) with the mother ship, with a new corporate name, Alphabet.
My relationship in this group relates to voluntary contributions to the company’s third-party advertising serving product, AdSense.
Specific details of the summit are subject to Non Disclosure Agreement requirements, so you won’t read them in breaking news items in upcoming blog postings. However the ideas here filter into a general understanding of the impact of technology, competition and business practices.
