The Society for Marketing Professional Services (SMPS) has announced the release of its Year in Review infographic and booklet.
Available for download on the SMPS website, the Year in Review highlights growth and achievements, as well as programs initiated within the 2016–2017 fiscal year.
The infographic includes a membership summary by firm size, job function, and firm discipline. In addition, it incorporates statistics on professional development offered, recognition and awards, and research provided by the SMPS Foundation.
The society accomplished numerous objectives to better serve members and help
validate the practice of marketing and business development within professional services.
During this period, more than 40,000 people attended programs organized by SMPS headquarters and chapters. SMPS also created select programming for senior-level marketing professionals and launched the development of its newest chapter, SMPS Rio Grande Valley.
“Year after year, SMPS continues to grow in influence and value to our members and the A/E/C industries,” says SMPS chief executive officer Michael V. Geary. “We are proud of our successes over the past fiscal year, and grateful for the continued involvement of our members, volunteer leaders, and other stakeholders. I’m looking forward to sharing our vision of Business Transformed Through Marketing Leadership during the new year.”
