If you are in one of many US cities (or in Canada, in the Greater Toronto Area), and have marketing responsibilities with an architectural, engineering or construction business/practice, I can’t think of many more effective marketing information resources than your local Society for Marketing Professional Services (SMPS) chapter.
Most chapters have regular meetings and programs geared to local circumstances. And of course you can network and connect with the larger organization’s educational and market development resources.
Most likely, if you don’t already know someone associated with the chapter who will invite you to an introductory meeting, you can reach out to the chapter’s membership officer or director and obtain the invitation. If you decide to join, dues are reasonable (maybe your employer will reimburse some or all of them) and you’ll plug into truly worthy resources.
