It’s just a few days from the nomination deadline for the 2015 Best Construction Blog competition.
If you know of a blog (or blogs) worthy of nomination — the blog can be you own — please share the news.
There’s no fee to enter (or win) the competition. All qualifying blogs receive a free link on the Construction Blogs and Resources page, plus an editorial review in the Construction Marketing Ideas blog. These two rewards for entry help out on one of the main general advantages of blogging — your SEO (search engine optimization).
Other advantages: Publicity, recognition, enhanced readership, and the opportunity to apply both the nomination — and if you are a finalist — the results in your marketing and promotional initiatives.
The blog should be relevant to the construction industry. This could mean you are a contractor serving a business-to-business or consumer market (or both), or a supplier, service or resource for the construction industry. The blog should be properly maintained, original and not obviously be generated purely for SEO.
Judging combines popular vote (which begins on February 1 and continues through the end of March) and judging by independent judges. This ensures that “get out the vote” campaigns, while helpful, cannot totally decide the results.
