Yesterday, I and approximately 260 other “Top Contributors” on Google’s help forums received some insights and observations about the search-engine giant. I can’t share the details because we are under the guidelines of a non-disclosure agreement (NDA), which allows me to report that I am here and participating in the summit, but not to tell anyone about what we have learned.
No, I am haven’t received any news which might be considered dramatic or scandalous — but the knowledge helps me to more effectively fulfill this blog’s objectives — and my overall business goals — to provide insights, resources and understanding of effective marketing for the architecture, engineering and construction community.
Specialized, “insider” knowledge is always helpful; expertise carries weight in marketing and business development. I’m looking forward to day two of the summit, where we move from the hotel to the Googleplex to see the operation from an insider’s perspective (and get down to some really nitty-gritty stuff within our specialized subject areas.)
I understand we are allowed to take photos outside the buildings and in selected areas of the complex while under tour guidance, so hope to have these images tomorrow.
But I won’t be able to tell you what we discovered behind the closed doors.
