Competitive Advantage (U.K.) Resources

If your challenge is to promote your business (either from the contractor or supplier/technology perspective)  to architects and engineers, you may find the resources page of the U.K.-based Competitive Advantage consultancy to be worth bookmarking.  Although there are distinctions between the British and North American markets, I think as you read through the material here you will see the similarities in challenges in communicating with industry professionals, and like some of the solutions suggested.

    Useful link. Thanks for that. I’m a lot more interested in the asian construction market – particularly in Malaysia. Here there seems to be a lot more active sales and marketing of property – especially residential – than the UK – but at the same time the quality of the delivery seems much poorer. IS this born out by your experience?

    I can’t claim to be an authority on the Asian market, let alone the U.K. In this business, my perception is that there are many regional variations in markets (even within North America), though some common principals apply; that is why it is useful to look at how leaders in other markets handle the situation.
