The quiet Christmas break has been mildly interrupted by pings on my blackberry, confirming vote after vote in the Best Construction Blog competition. By the conclusion of the extended nomination deadline Wednesday afternoon (Dec. 30), I’m confident we will have a comprehensive and representative list of blogs and forums/sites for you to review and vote on.
Contestants have referenced the contest on forums and, I believe, some have sent out messages to colleagues and friends to get out the vote. Certainly, many have — this is supposed to be a quiet holiday weekend, but I have plenty of emails to show many are interested in the contest.
Of course, it has two months to run — the deadline co-incides with the expected deadline for the next issue of the Design and Construction Report, and I want everyone to have a fair chance of campaigning for victory.
