The 12-hour referral sale

Can you combine a referral program with a time-limited sale?

Today, I’m going to see we can.  I’ll report on the results tomorrow.

The offer combines two elements.  First, today we are introducing a referral offer/reward which will continue after the special sale.  We’ll provide $500 in advertising credits to anyone who refers a business/organization or project worthy of a feature profile in either The Design and Construction Report.  To qualify, the feature needs to generate at least $1,500 in total advertising revenue and be published by March 11, 2011.

Here is the time-limited offer.  If you provide your referral within the 12-hour referral sale period (8 a.m. to 8 p.m. today and the feature generates $2,500 or more in revenue, we’ll double the reward to $1,000 in advertising credits and am adding a $500 cash referral payment option.  (Yes, you can refer your own business.  If we generate the advertising revenue through supplier-support advertising, we’ll  pay you for your feature profile.  This 12-hour referral offer also is extended to all of our regional publications, as well as The Design and Construction Report.)
